As a liche, I find this very confusing. There are at least three possible wizards in this image, discounting the possibility of rabbit-folk magi (I wouldn't, but there are some amongst our community whose views ossified around the Restoration of Tauraa). Who is the wizard? Who is the familiar? Are there many familiars? What is the nature of the reunion?
You are the small skeleton and your wizard is the one with the hat. The ex-familiar is the surprising huge and powerful skeleton.
Those only way this makes sense to me is as a parallel to the feeling of running into your partner's ex out in the wild, and you are shocked at how good looking they are because you have low self worth and you are subconsciously comparing yourself to the ex and doubting that you are an "upgrade" or a step forward for your partner. I don't know if that's correct or not, but the only way I could explain it was through a lens of "self-deprecating and thus relatable meme humor."
Now if you'll excuse me I have to find some other frogs to dissect for my bone army.
