Was Worf a character modified to move a narrative? They changed an entire species for a romance with Jadzia, who was admittedly awesome...

Yeah, I remember him generally being a consummate professional on TNG—he had occasional lapses, but everyone did—who turned into a constant rage machine on DS9; here there were way too many times when he would do something counterproductive to a situation and I would think, "The TNG Worf would never have done that!"

You are right about the romance with Jadzia, though!
