China accuses US of 'AI hegemonism', threatens countermeasures over potential probes

Now all of a sudden the US AI companies care about intellectual property theft.

If they can steal the entire worlds work, I think other people can distill their models into more efficient models

tl;dr china is throwing a tantrum around usa stating that it might investigate sanction evasion. There are no good guys here.
