Brave. I know some people don't like it because of all the crypto nonsense, but I've never enabled any of that.

I really like it it's built in ad and content blockers. Kinda random, but I love that you can block YouTube shorts. Idk, I just don't like YouTube shorts or other short form videos like tik tok or Instagram

I'm thinking about trying zen again in the near future. At the time it seemed a little "too innovative" for me, but idk. I've been brower hopping a bit, because sometimes thing don't work of Brave because of how much stuff I have it set up to block

I know there are plenty of efficient single gpu models out there, but I still assume most people are using data centers for image generation.

Also there is just something off putting about the style of most AI generated images, audio, and videos for me.

I've seen very few instances of very specific and fine tuned LoRAs/workflows that I would consider art/acceptable use. But the majority is just wasted electricity, rage bait, misinformation, scams, and slop

I'm not fluent in second language or anything, but I think I have learned the most when immersed, like I visited the Philippines for a month and started to pick up some Tagalog. Or during two years of grad school, I had a lot of Nepali friends and slowly started to understand more Neplai words and phrases

I can imagine fun, useful, and interesting, applications of LLMs.

It's just that companies are going kinda crazy over investing and trying to shove them in everyone's face for profit.

I thought fascism was just extreme conservative authoritarianism.

The idea of AI is actually kinda progressive, but it's just being driven and controlled by crazy capitalist right now

Maybe the joke went over my head, but could someone explain how they are fascist?

I get that they are kind of a disaster for the environment and people's brains right now, but fascism seems unrelated
