I read boiling the water and slow pouring reduces them. I also read stories of people boiling their water and then using a pour over coffee filter to attempt to reduce them.

If I can be honest though it's not hard to distill your own water it's just that the pH gets reduced and humans are used to 6.0-6.3 and distilled is like a perfect 5.0 to 5.5
