Merz doesn't care about norms or the constitution, he has proven this before. He will turn the country into America or worse as quickly as he can for his rich benefactors. He will sell his neighbors out if it means he gets one more euro in his pocket. Do not allow him to stay in power for long, already he attacks our right to easy healthcare, already he puts us in debt to the rich further, already he mobilizes us to war against anyone we can (so the complex may grow), already he demands you work longer hours, already he tears down the firewall with the afd, already he misapproporiates money and lies. And it is not Merz, it is the CDU, it is conservatives just as it is republicans in the US and Orban in Hungary or Putin in Russia, these people do not want a better country for us but for them.
You say that like he is the problem. He isn't, he's just am symptom.
And noone else from that corrupt coterie will be substantially better. The CDU simply hopes that someone else can shove the same shit down people's throat a bit better than that uncharismatic churl.
And it is not Merz, it is the CDU, it is conservatives
But the brain-deads will keep voting for them no matter what...
Ah, yes I see what you mean. No, you're right Merz is just a symptom and anyone at the CDU or the FDP or the AFD would be just as bad or worse.
I just wish the same story wasn't playing out everywhere and/or people would learn from others mistakes. Conservatives weaken and corrupt countries by their very nature.

Yet those combined have a comfortable majority in polls. Voters don't learn from other's mistakes because they don't learn at all. They majorily just parrot anything that main stream and social media tell them and both are well-controlled by right-wing actors or even far-right radicals and malicious foreign actors.
