A coworker of mine has a 2025 model. Based on their experience with screen problems and delaminating I cannot forsee choosing one for myself.

Same. I love the concept. But I would never buy a phone with so many moving parts.

I managed to get a used Fold 5 in surprisingly good shape considering the previous owner's occupation (ocean-based field work), and it's been shockingly robust.
I'd previously been of the same opinion, but I don't see myself going back to a regular phone whenever I decide to upgrade. That being said, even Samsung's newest Fold barely looks like an improvement to the Fold 5 for what I look for in a phone so I doubt I'll be upgrading anytime soon.
