I think it's lowkey ironic that Musk is South African. He's only been boosted by the US because he's white (and of course a modern tycoon, complete with blood money and slaves)
He's been obsessed with his own inability to be cool for decades. Everything he does is a desperate ploy to have someone -- anyone -- think that he's cool. He burned that bridge with anyone who had half a brain years ago, so now he's trying to be popular with right wing assholes.
I feel for him that he was forced to take this interview, it’s such a shame this country forces the rich to do interviews, they just want to work 18 hours days and do what’s best for the country. /s
