Recap. Recap of the recap. Two conversations. Recap of the second conversation. Fin

The multiple repeated scenes were very jarring and messed up the pacing IMO.

Also the protag didn't help the girl from the goodness of his heart, he only acted because her skill is useful. In that regard he was no better than his father.

first time I felt like the story progressed.

unfortunately they reused so much content that at this point I'm almost positive its mostly AI-gen.

Is this the first time they've so extensively reused footage from the same episode, or was I just not paying attention?

Endless 8 flashbacks (though if you look closely, a few details differ)

They did it a bit in episode 4, one of the reasons I dropped this series. Not a great sign when it's in a boss fight that's supposed to be one of your early hooks.

I mean, it was probably the least offensive reason, but I have to admit I thought maybe the studio was finally starting to get a handle on their weirdo cinematography that apparently saw Gods of Egypt and decided it was the coolest idea ever to wildly spin the camera in action scenes just cuz you can do that with computers now.

I'm pretty disappointed it started going Full Isekai Logic, I thought the villainess Swordmaster chick had potential based on character design alone.

@rikka I personally don't have a problem with the recaps

To me the world building is interesting, slowly build up the former game world now Elymas reality. With breadcrumbs leading up to each beat.

Luce, I'm very interested in her class, pierrot. What type of class is that? her skill tree seems to be of one with high drop rates and her class widely undervalued not to mention being crazily broken if built correctly

I'm not sure why he overreacts to the price of the skill books. He had just seen that healing potions were more expensive than expected, and that skill books were only available on the black market. And then, they turn out to be only double the price from the game. Then, he shows obvious reactions to the skill book he wants which lets the shop keeper charge him whatever she wants.

She said it was rare and that only an oddball would want it, which is like saying that it will never sell. There's tons of room for negotiation.

Imagine a world where he wasn't a complete moron, and he saw the book, and then calmly asked her about it. He could negotiate the price down instead of up.
