It's hilarious that the protagonist's name (Rentaro) is the complete opposite of what an English-speaker would think. That honor belongs to Rent-a-Girlfriend's Kazuya.
The Yumemita characters finally appeared! The wait is so worth it. Now that I see all the bands interacting with each other, I can tell that Mewtype has the best interpersonal chemistry. It's so refreshing to see them interact together.
I love every single moment of this episode and I'm invested in Viola's villain arc. That unhinged Light Yagami-like laugh and Dio-like pose is absolute cinema. She's already stolen the show from our protagonists.
Mewtype's "TearJerker" song is perhaps the closest J-pop equivalent to Huntrix's "Takedown".
Among Bandori episodes, I like this better than MyGO!!!!! Episode 7 and is below its Episode 10 and Ave Mujica Episode 11. In other words, it's my third best Bandori episode, so far.
Just read a bit about it. Apparently, part of the reason the match lasted the way it did is to keep the magazine the manga is serialized in afloat. I thought the editors asked the mangaka to do it that way. It was the opposite.
I was out of town, doing a bit of visiting. I heard my friend the Emperor had finally taken the time to settle down in the countryside. Rightfully so, after what he’d been through, with all the pent-up stress and frustration built up over the years of ruling the empire.
“How have things been buddy?” I asked, as I saw my lord step out of the house upon hearing my footsteps. “All good, life’s been a lot more chill, now that I’ve retired,” he answered. “Hey, wanna check out my animals out back? I’ve taken up farming as a hobby with my free time,” as he motioned over to the back gate.
We headed out and he started introducing me to some of the livestock, mentioning how he had named them after his players, as the unhinged animals they were. Just then, I was hit by an unbearable stench. With my eyes watering uncontrollably, I questioned through gritted teeth, “What in the hell is that smell?”
He looked over knowingly and said: "Ah. Maomao? The goat is never washed.”

Runaway OP of the season for me
Elite ball knowledge
Shave Impact - 02 for the completionists.
Animation is ass. Subtitles are "I'll now proceed to pleasure myself with this fish" tier. Godlike comedy. 6/10 will watch again.

Endless 8 flashbacks (though if you look closely, a few details differ)
What manga do you think fits that description?

What soft power does to a mf
One proverb that stuck to me is "Brush your teeth in the evening to keep your teeth. Brush your teeth in the morning to keep your friends."
Same here. In addition, this has the potential to be the best Bandori anime yet.
