We tried this years ago in fish farms and found biodiversity increases, water cycling slows, and the quality of the fish increased.
No idea how to find it but I want to say I read it in like 2020-2022 somewhere.

I hate sprawling parking lots, but the fact they don't cover them with solar panels for shade is just seems like a missed opportunity.

My kid's school just opted to put one out in right field in their baseball field whilst the parking lot remains uncovered. It's so fucking stupid. They have an elevated structure just sat in the middle of a field. They didn't even put panels on the fucking roof where it would have been far simpler and more cost efficient.
