Somehow I know that Noonien Soong pronounces it 'su-doo', and over-pronounces it that way if he hears anyone say 'su-doe'

Now that I think about it, it probably should be pronounced 'su-doo' given what it's supposed to represent. But in my mind I always pronounced it 'su-doe'... Hm...

I may have been a kid when I first learned about sudo, and it took me a long time to realize who ever created the command didn't just mispell pseudo. (in my head cannon, pseudo-root. because it was like being root. without being root.)

I just showed this to my wife, who enjoyed it, and then I gleefully reminded her that it's my fault she understands both the Star Trek joke and the Linux joke. She likes me despite this.
