First thought before looking it up was: This really looks impractical to put your stuff in, wonder why the Bulgarians use this... 😆

I would probably wait to see wear patterns first. It could end up shifting the stress to a different spot.
I also wouldn’t want to have the adhesive anywhere close to a workout implement if I can help it.
