Maybe instead of disavowing these people who are getting arrested for protesting Israel and ICE, the actual left should be organizing to help them and use their stories to create sympathy for the left?

my point is that they are manipulating the overton window to make even slightly left from fascism look like their evil communist caricature. plus normalize all of these crackdowns on anyone they dislike under the guise of protecting everyone from those vaguely defined "leftists".

Ah ok, thank you for explaining. I think we are in agreement that the people that are being targeted by Trump’s regime are not actual leftists. My point was that even if they aren’t leftists by definition, we should still be defending them from the regime because if we don’t, we allow anti-leftist oppression to be normalized.

i don't disagree with you on that, whoever they are targeting is always our first line of defense. but it's also important to focus up their intentional blurring of lines, as it helps everyone notice we're on the same team. then we shouldn't fall for traps.

the only real purity fetish involved here are liberals who are taught that "true" leftists must be come from the capitalist downtrodden classes to be truly pure.
if you spent more than average effort to peek beyond the propaganda that misinforms you, you would instantly see that nearly all of them started out as members of the ruling class that betrayed the ruling class in the same way that leftists start out as liberals and can now understand how deeply propagandized liberals are as a result.
we were once like you, but managed to turn off the tv, facebook, reddit, etc. and started reading for ourselves.

You're not that deep. I've known a lot about the realities of the world from a very young age due to circumstances. I bet I'm just as widely read as you too if not more so. I know how propagandized we are. Every single person on the planet is. I always knew this. It's nothing new and never has been.

your awareness and your anecdotal experience doesn't matter anywhere near as much as learning from the others who have come and tried before you for the last century and a half and looking at your exchanges with others here makes it clear that's the piece of the puzzle you're missing.

bill gates is a well known example of how they use philantropy to whitewash their shit. i would bet before even looking this organization up that it extracted far more than what they could possibly pay back in small funding for whatever cause.
in fact they are making money on the genocide, billions of it even as their own country tanks.
the other poster is correct, they can legitimately help (engels as the quintessential example), it's just that most are trying to fool us.

I doubt the US government would be coming after him if he was a pedo Gates case. You need to understand that not every American is against you. You are ensuring the right win forever if you don't build strategic bridges. You don't need to agree on everything with your allies but you do need to learn to recognise allies.
