Also the original source for this seems highly suspect. I have serious doubta about the credibility of this article. I did try to find a alt source but every article I came across was all left leaning media that like to sell you on a idea rather than tell the full truth.

Edit: here is the AP news story https://apnews.com/article/russia-ukraine-war-zelenskyy-missile-attack-ballistics-eb62397d10bca2d6db4269a3bcfc9dc6 notice how the AP doesn't frame this in a political light. There is shortage of defense missiles due to the US not providing aid.

According to preliminary data, 26 ballistic missiles, four anti-ship missiles, and 23 attack drones struck 21 locations, while debris from intercepted targets fell at two additional sites. Three missiles failed to reach their intended targets.
