I think marrying cousin's isn't something that should be done in general, but I also don't think there should be a law about it.

Live and let Live. Unless there is some specific societal detriment or abuse it shouldn't be anyone's business who marry's who as far as the law is concerned, but also as a society we should discourage dynastic behavior since that leads to a lot of antisocial beliefs.

To be fair, marrying your first cousin isn't actually as bad for genetics as it used to be presented, as long as people don't do it for like 3-4 generations in a row. It was a heavily exaggerated thing.

I think cousin marriage is worse for the power implications and the abuse potential rather than having kids.

House of Saxony tried to not do it but it only delayed the inevitable for a century or two since now nearly every remaining nobility in Europe is either part of or closely related to the house of Saxony lol.
