The Monday morning announcement from the senators came just hours after Blanche issued a formal order that appeared to terminate the Trump administration’s nearly $1.8 billion so-called anti-weaponization fund. The order also clarifies the scope of an agreement the Justice Department brokered between Trump and the IRS not to audit the president, his family or his businesses. Those issues had been key sticking points for the senators.
In a statement released Monday morning, the lawmakers said they were “pleased” with the order, adding, “We want to express our gratitude to Mr. Blanche and his staff for working with us on this, and we look forward to voting to advance his nomination out of the Senate Judiciary Committee soon.”

He may feign outrage for a day or so to try to fool his purple state's uninformed voters, but Tillis has never dared to cross his owners. NC has had plenty of GOP senators in my lifetime, but this simple-minded waste of womb is easily the worst.
