To be fair to him, he was part of LAFC's original partnership group in 2014 and has been a minority owner the whole time. He has also been active in the MLS competition subcommittee, so he will likely be pushing to add cap space and modernize salary rules. Yeah, he works private equity, but he has also been active in MLS for 12 years.

And his opposition was ALSO a private equity guy, so the choices were chosen intentionally.
