It's not really distinct to a single ethnicity on the islands, it's spoken by around half of the population of Hawaii. So it's more of a distinction that you are a local rather than being a native Hawaiian.

Ah, I thought the primary had already concluded. I see it’s scheduled for Aug 8. Somehow, I don’t think this candidate ever stood a chance vs Tokuda (or anyone else in this primary lol, even before this stupidity).
Movies have lied to us. Outside of trained boxers/fighters, it doesn't take much to knock someone normal out IRL, a decent tag in the right spot and almost anyone will go out like that.

Of course this was all in self defense. I had long dreadlocks and I live in a state with a bunch of cowboys.. why do drunk cowboys always want to try to kick a hippies ass?

edit: saw the follow up video that gave context. This guy then grabbed a switchblade and went after that Kratos sized dude and other people. Way to throw your life away.
