Well the market decided companies aren’t aimed at creating useful items to sell to customers anymore, they’re all in the advertising business now. Which makes no sense to me because the consumer class has less and less money to circulate so what are the ads for? Does this mean our attention was the real capital the entire time?!

I wonder if anyone in BMW accounting did the math to figure out potential future loss of sales vs ad revenue.

Ad revenue is tangible this quarter, future sales are nebulous and further out. The math is easy if all you care about is making a quick buck.
