On August 5, a federal judge who had temporarily blocked the Trump administration from ending Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for as many as 350,000 Haitians living in the United States officially lifted that order, leaving immigrants from the Caribbean nation more vulnerable than ever to arrest and deportation.

If only someone could have seen this coming

Damn, the party that lied about Haitians eating people's pets is making Haitian immigrants an easier target for ICE? Who'da fucking thought?
Bro, fucking anyone can be a businessman, but Trump was especially bad at it. Aside from the famously bankrupted casinos, he'd have made more money just putting it in an index fund and doing nothing. Dude's only making money now through blatant corruption.

I remember 10-12 years ago, I found a YT channel making videos about tech companies and tech leaders, at first it was interesting, bur then came the Hyperloop video...
The guy kept talking about Musk as if he was some kind of oracle and kept trying to add legitimize Musk just because he was an entrepreneur.
I sm not kidding, in the entire video, they always said "entrepreneur Elon Musk" every single time they mentioned him by name, they added the title entrepreneur, as if that would give musk legitimacy to all ideas.
I grew up in a very train focused family, my dad sold railway signal systems, and was/is an active member of a heritage railroad, and nothing in the Hyperloop video made any sense to me. Combine that with the grating of constantly hearing the title entrepreneur being assigned to Musk every single time he was mentioned.

Is this just free advertising for old mate?
Restaurant owners have been keen to do whatever it takes to get some free publicity since restaurants were a thing.
I can't imagine someone who actually voted for Trump calling a journalist to tell them they regret doing so, especially not when the outcome is this obvious.
I can however imagine a struggling restauranteur doing that for the free press.

I can't imagine what kind of business he thinks he's going to bring in with this. Trumpers will hate him now and anyone on the left will think he's an idiot. Centrists will now be aware that his restaurants are understaffed and missing a lot of the people who kept them running smoothly.
What I can imagine is an aggrieved business owner complaining to the news about the grave injustice that happened to them - not their employees mind you. Thinking that since the world revolves around them that maybe someone important will see them on the news Trump will care about their personal plight. Like when Jenner complained about her passport saying she's a male or that shitty cartoonist appealing to Trump for life saving meds. These people think they're special and that their support means that Trump will care about them.
