I'm not going to defend a rapist, but these types of oddities of the court system are intended to protect victims and innocent people. If they occasionally mean that a guilty person is treated more humanely than they deserve, then so be it.
I haven't really heard of kids going hungry in Australia. Social security for young families is pretty good. There's loads of free activities, and childcare is heavily subsidised and very accessible.

I started using stremio because it was the quickest and easiest "search to watch" for someone who doesn't care to keep the content lying around. As that no longer seems to be the case I'm just downloading torrents from 1337x again.

It pisses me off that you can just put whatever in the bin and it gets disappeared and you've done a great job caring for the planet.
Most of it is just plain not recyclable. Never was. Some can theoretically be downcycled into expensive ugly park benches that no one wants so no one bothers to do that. Only PET can be "re" cycled, but plenty isn't.
I imagine your biggest challenge will be the network effect.
Toddlers clothes and toys and other gear might be a good niche market to target. They go through heaps of stuff. Probably the only reason I still have Facebook marketplace.
Do some physical posters at daycares and community centres.

As far as I know, jellyfin only streams local content, so for movies and TV you probably want the *arr family to find and download all the things.
