The fun thing to me is, my entire family is some form of neurodivergent. Their own noises don't bother them and they can't understand why anyone else is annoyed by them. But god forbid you make a noise. How dare you! Yeah that definitely contributed to my CPTSD....
I notice at the dog park when someone's dog starts barking. Some people don't try to train it out, and continue having a conversation as if there isn't all this explosive dog-shouting rattling my brain
Or chewing sounds coming at you from all directions during dinner. It takes a lot of willpower to withstand that. I wear my earplugs usually, makes it bearable. They block the higher frequencies.
