First exposure to this local (Oakland) band and they're quite the churning piledriver: Ramones hooks and harmonies crossed with an overdriven wall of fuzz and hum. I'm reminded of the bottom-heavy attack of Pampers, the oblique lyrics of the Spits, and (strangely) Spacemen 3 (when they digress into drone-heavy extendo-grooves).
Their 2025 LP is pretty good - please don't construe this as an ad.

Oh, they were opening for (the incredible) Kid Congo & The Pink Monkey Birds, who I love but are also a known quantity. These folks were unexpected and had all the greater impact for it.
