Name and shame. If you use AI to fail to do your job as HR, then you're clearly not worth working with/for.

hahaha, this is higher effort than most HR departments.
80% will not even send an email. Of the remaining, 19% will use a template, no money wasted on AI model.

Bold of you to assume that HR is aware of any cost connected to LLMs
morrowind@lemmy.ml · 3 pts · 7d
hah, well there's a cost to them to figure out how to use the AI tool

Not sure if AI or someone messing up a mailmerge. Shame on them for having that template either way
shyguyblue@lemmy.world · 14 pts · 7d
Mail merge is clinical [userName], but this is straight up asking for a generated response...
It literally says "write"...

I’ve seen similar instructions in letter templates for HR stuff pre-AI, but again it’s messed up either way.

Fucking Allan, man. Can’t count on them for shit.
jarvis@lemmy.world · 30 pts · 7d
Why would they redact the company's name? I'd be highlighting that shit.

Wait, you got an email saying they weren't hiring you?
I've never seen this, ever. Lol

I (pre-transition) waited a week for a local chain store to say yes or no, then next time I visited I realised that a) they hired more people so the vacancy was closed, and b) they only hire girls. There was one woman and the rest were under 20.

even pre-covid they did this, half of it is either this email or no email.
