I've long thought that it was well past time for the US to have a big shakeup and reform in some way. I am hopeful for a smaller collection of states that make up 4 - 5 different countries because the current system is not working.

These kinds of dramatic, messianic headlines are not helpful. That is not the most likely scenario, obviously. Responsible news outlets should not amplify these harmful, fringe opinions.
