I do not believe that Trump ever said that quote. I mean three correct coherent sentences without any insults and rambling in it? Come on...

Rothe@piefed.social · 26 pts · 11d

Definitely written by one of his social media handlers. Just the fact that it isn't written in all caps shows that.

yakko@feddit.uk · 23 pts · 12d

It was important for the plot that he foreshadow WWIII.

NihilsineNefas@slrpnk.net · 5 pts · 11d

This was from before his pal Jeff stopped feeding him 'jerky' and adrenochrome

Strong leadership really can prevent wars... but shitting your pants on camera, double tapping a school full of little girls, shitting your pants on camera, starting a pointless war because someone from another country told you to, being unable to read from a teleprompter, shitting your pants on camera, getting publicly embarrassed over and over by the country you attacked, falling asleep on camera constantly, shitting your pants on camera, demolishing a third of your own Presidential Palace so it's a gaping hole in the ground, and shitting your pants on camera aren't signs of a strong leader.

Maybe if he shat himself a bit harder?

village604@adultswim.fan · 8 pts · 11d

Maybe he'd reach esacpe velocity and be space's problem.

Abyssian@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 11d

Now you've got me wanting to see a Rocky style montage of Trump training to shit himself more often, harder, and with the worst possible stench.

HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 11d

i have money on that one actually. betting that krasnov shits so hard (in public) he hurts himself

UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 10d

Strong leadership really can prevent wars…

Idk what "strong" leadership is supposed to mean in this context. Because, in the American context, strength is directly correlated with a leader's willingness to inflict unimaginable pain and suffering on one's domestic and global opposition.

shitting your pants on camera, double tapping a school full of little girls, shitting your pants on camera, starting a pointless war...

Terror campaigns have a long and historically effective track record. Whether or not you're cotenant when you press the big red button hardly matters.

The problem with fascist governments is that they're very good at extracting enormous amounts of wealth from vulnerable people. So they produce a vicious cycle of assault, extraction, re-arming, renewed assault. Liberals heckling from the sides with "Haha, he poopie his panties!" doesn't change any of that.

Trump's allies are gaining wealth, sovereign territory, and an expanded role in the state bureaucracy. I don't see anyone willing to acknowledge that. And so, once he's scattered his fascist seeds, I question whether anyone will remember to pull them back out again before the next harvest.

Your AI slop bores me

Tja@programming.dev · -10 pts · 11d (7 replies)

Given it has 160 upvotes, seems you are in the minority.

RichardDegenne@lemmy.zip · 4 pts · 11d (3 replies)

I know, but being in a minority doesn't make me any less right.

Tja@programming.dev · -4 pts · 10d (2 replies)

It is literally a matter of taste...

RichardDegenne@lemmy.zip · 1 pts · 10d (1 reply)

Lol, lmao even

Tja@programming.dev · -1 pts · 10d

Be careful then!

Yes, everyone who disagrees with you is a bot. I am also a bot, of course.

Bleep bloop, thanks for engaging fellow bot.

Quoting this clown is like quoting an 8 ball

PattyMcB@lemmy.world · 14 pts · 11d

Naww... the 8-ball is right a good portion of the time.

Lushed_Lungfish@lemmy.ca · 12 pts · 11d

I trust the 8-ball to at least be impartial.

Huh? Oh, MAGAts don't care about that any more. Now they want to invade fucking Greenland for some goddamn reason.

Abyssian@lemmy.world · 11 pts · 11d (1 reply)

If the rest of the world continues to catch on fire, Greenland might end up with a wonderful climate and be a great place for billionaires to develop.

Give it ~80 years and America's puddle of radioactive diesel, sewage, asbestos and heavy water left over from an illegally built nuclear powered missile silo under the glacier will be exposed, they won't want it then.

Insane for a moment the damage this guy has done to millions of republicans.

I'll never take any of them seriously ever again. A few dumb members of my family are now a joke to me... Like this is the dumbest thing they've ever supported.

There's no coming back from this.

osanna@lemmy.vg · 4 pts · 10d

I would like to think that the repubes have done their dash, and no sane american would ever vote for them again..... but this is america we're talking about.

UnderpantsWeevil@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 10d

the damage this guy has done to millions of republicans

None of the ones that matter. They all got an order of magnitude richer.

Like this is the dumbest thing they’ve ever supported.

American fascists wanted to inflict horrifying torture and abuse on the rest of the world. They got exactly what they asked for and they are exceedingly happy about it. When Trump is gone, they'll demand Trump 2. Just like when they all lined up to morn Ronald Reagan and promised to bring about his Second Coming.

Atomic@sh.itjust.works · 3 pts · 10d

Expand your view. Trumps actions damages the entierty of the US on a global scale. That's damage that cannot be undone.

Everyone in Europe that previously used US services and products are now looking elsewhere. Including weapons manufacturing

No one can trust the US for anything that spans longer than 4 years.

The real damage of Trumps presidency isn't going to be seen in the US for another 10 years.

Guy who is constantly lying: "Series of Lies!"

Me, a fact-checker: "I'm going to use AI to debunk these lies in meme format".
