Pantone 448 C (the "ugliest colour in the world")

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pantone_448_C

I just learned about this colour in a documentation about the global tobacco industry. In several countries this color is mandatory for the packaging of all cigarettes that are being sold to make the design less appealing.

The Australian Department of Health initially referred to the colour as "olive green", but the name was changed after concerns were expressed by the Australian Olive Association.

Hilarious

I have no idea how it's supposed to be green, either.

Is it weird that I don't think it's that bad though

And for some reason, the colour Dark Reader turns a bunch of websites into.

It's also the most effective camouflage color. Imagine you're wearing this from head to toe and a fascist (known for their fashion sense) has you in his sights. Does he drop the hammer on you, or does he think to himself 'the worst thing I could possibly do to this guy right now is let him continue to walk around looking like that'.
