As more and more people base their decisions on LLMs, it's a glimpse of hope to see that the models seem to be more reasoable than the people using them. At least until companies will correct that 'flaw' in their software.
I did get the 100 notes several times and once even 200 at an ATM and I was super annoyed by that. Usually, if I withdraw larger amounts, I explicitly choose odd numbers to minimize the risk (i.e. 190 instead of 200).
in my experience everyone hates these bigger notes. already the 100 and 200 ones are rather unpopular if you pay at a restaurant, fast food store, bakery etc. as it means lots of change. 50 is the sweet spot that's easily accepted everywhere.
Imagine carrying a purse with your valuables where just the content weighs around 18.5 kg + the weight of the clay container around it... Dude must have been really ripped.
It was a fun read about a fascinating technology I never heard of. Kind of feels like IT archeology might be a new area of research with all the technical debt, abstraction layers and abondoned services out there.
Can someone please ELI5 why a strike on the headquarter of an intelligence agency is considered as a major escalation? For me this sounds like one of the most valuable military targets in any conflict. I would have assumed that it would be a high priority for all parties in a war to decimate your opponents intelligence services as early as possible.
In contrast to this, I would consider the numerous attacks on civilians and non-military infrastructure as a major escalation as they are directly targeting totally uninvolved people.
Shitty.
Looks super staged. I guess (hope) that's ragebait.
As already commented in the main post: So far no mention in bigger news outlets. Is there a source for this?

If I remember correctly people put these little thingies on gas pumps not too long ago. I guess it might make sense to rework these a bit...
Stadtammannamt? <3
