Since it is BTRFS, even though GNU yes is working at a glorious 3GiB/s speed, disk is only slowly filling up. In the last 15 minutes, 25 whole gigabytes were wasted.

10 GiB has been filled on the host disk since it goes BTRFS -> QCOW -> BTRFS and all of that has compression individually.

Host now constantly thermal throttles due to 3 instances of disk compression running in parallel under full blast.

your command was interrupted by sudo shutdown +60 set up an hour ago by @PinkiePieYay2707@pawb.social

It reached a maximum of 60GiB disk utilization. Size of the file no is 2.6 TB
