I just finished this book today and I often like to read about how popular works inspired others. Internet searches give me 1000 results for what inspired Christie, but basically nothing for what this book inspired. I could name several, the movie "The Commuter" , the game "The Last Express", the "Knives Out" series, and the Adventure Time episode "Mystery Train".
I'd love to know more works inspired by hers, or any general thoughts anyone would like to share on the book ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )

There is the Doctor Who episode "Mummy on the Orient Express" which is imo one of Peter Capaldi's best episodes

If TTRPGs are your bag, Call of Cthulhu's Horror on the Orient Express is quite well regarded. It regularly comes up in discussions about the best campaigns of all time, all game systems considered.

That...is a combination I did not expect. I'll have to look into that

Rex Stout's Nero Wolfe mysteries were written at the same time as Christie's novels.
Wolfe is a sedentary iconoclast who seldom leaves his Manhattan townhouse. Instead he sends Archie Goodwin out to follow up on clues and bring home witnesses to be interrogated.

Seconding the Nero Wolfe books, they're absolutely superb. Archie is a brilliant narrator.

Someone else pointed out that these days the early Nero Wolfe books read like historical fiction. In one of the stories from the 1950s there's a description of how watching television was considered a lively thing to do at a fancy party.

Ha ha, yeah, I read that one just a few months ago. Did a bit of a binge over May/June.

Does A Hat In Time's "Murder on the owl express" count?

Looks like it would to me. I really need to play that game
