The Soviet Union was Stalinist, not Marxist. It failed to properly implement Marxism. If you want to stump for a communist system, propose something better than the shitshow that was the 20th century. Aim higher.

no one said soviet union was perfect - however it was the first big attempt to communism and fought global capitalism for 70ish years, we learned alot from its success and failures. Ofcourse we are aiming for better, that doesnt mean we will disregard our revolutionary past.
