It’s crazy because I think of Gene Wilder as being in his 50s in that movie, but he’s 15 years younger than me in that film.

Still not sure I could have done that move in my 30s either though.

For the money you'd be as limber as needed

If we can grow it here, can we do anything to help with growing it where it’s traditionally grown so that the people don’t lose their livelihoods?

And do the same for coffee.

Its grown in a dedicated specialist centre that's fully climate controlled, not really going to be any significant amount of cocoa from the UK any time soon

Oh wow I didn't know you could plant cacao trees there.

I'm guessing they were indoor cultivars

Is this the government's plan to reindustrialise Britain?

Was it ever made fully in the UK? I don't have an issue with sourcing good quality and fair trade ingredients internationally and producing here. I do have an issue with swapping everything of taste out to produce a shit product cadburys and galaxy on a race to the bottom. Article is informative, i a not sure why reading uni is preserving the plants or going to these extremes, but some people have a lot more time and funds than others. Feels more like a passion project than a real effort to appreciate the true craft of farmers.

It is the first of its kind since 1932, when Rowntree's gifted a six-year-old Princess Elizabeth the only other bar of commercially viable UK-grown chocolate ever made.

Right there at the top of the article.
