That's a cartel

A cartel is a group of independent market participants who collaborate with each other and avoid competing with each other in order to improve their profits and dominate the market.

Wait?! How many grams to an ounce? It’s been years and I wonder if the price is really that low. Maybe I just forgot the pricing.

1 ounce = ~28.34 grams so $6.99 / ounce = $0.247 / gram, $112 / ounce = $3.95 / gram.

Surely there's an error in my maths somewhere...

According to the article:

Lowest oz is $6.99

Med is $99

The low one is probably very bottom shelf or like, just shitty shake or something.

myrmidex@belgae.social · 1 pts · 20d

even for the bottom shelf, they'd charge 5 euros a gram in shops, perhaps 3-4 on the black market. 0.2 just blows my mind

I call bs on a $7 ounce, unless its some old shake or something. In CA the cheapest you could get an ounce is like $40-50 but thats only in the big cities, $80-100 i feel is pretty standard for the cheep stuff
