Fuck that source, he might have entered the plea, but that article is biased as fuck to the point of propaganda...

Alexander Hamilton would be ashamed of what they did to his newspaper.

Mangione looked solemn, close to choking up, as he said “yes” to a series of questions about the legal specifics of his plea.

No kidding, holy shit.

There's a part where they describe his widespread support as "a hoarde of fangirls" and a bunch of other shit that was just way to obvious to keep reading.

Why would you use NY Post OP? It's one of the most biased rags out there

Kind of surprising he pled out, considering he had decent odds for jury nullification. Wonder what kind of deal he was offered

he had decent odds for jury nullification

If you're judging this solely by public sentiment on the Internet, particularly on Lemmy, perhaps. I would imagine the prosecution for this particular case put extra focus on avoiding the selection of jurors who might push for nullification.

Just murdered someone, what's the big deal?

CEOs in charge of denying people of their healthcare aren't people

It's all a game, there's about six levels of denial appeals to tackle and they are just counting on you giving up.

Apparently the people who didn't go through the various levels of appeal downvote LMAO facts always in the way. Reddit 2.0

They're counting on you to die.

Luigi didn't even use United Health as his insurance company.

I bet you didn't know that.

Besides, if Luigi didn't like his insurance he should be mad at his very wealthy parents.

Yep... the info in the media pointed to lone actor grievance fuelled violence. You can't shoot someone cos you think they're vile

Sad for the guy's family members sure, but the fuckwad destroyed so many more families and got what was coming.
