Some Albertans are apparently traitors or quislings and should just move to the USA then, instead of breaking up Canada.
EDIT: .. and they're also clueless idiots. Don't they understand the USA in its present form will NEVER give a new territory full statehood? They'll keep them a disenfranchised territory, like Puerto Rico or Washington DC and then just rape the whole area for its resources and never give disaster aid, etc.

Its the American way!

Republicans are the ones holding up statehood for Puerto Rico and D.C.; they wouldn't mind giving a fascist-run province like Alberta statehood.

I can only see them treating the first to fall better, if they would want to lure other states in.

These people would be running back to the border singing O Canada the first time they get sick and have to deal with the bleak realities of what being an American actually entails. But hey, have fun with your little Kremlin-backed psyop, ya bunch of useful idiots. Just ask Brexiters what it's like to have your wildest, dumbest, demands fulfilled.

Lol who cares. They can't separate. Even if they wanted to, treaties with indigenous folk say they can't; it's not their land to play with.
Move south, go to Montana or Idaho. I dare you. Then you gotta live there.

Soft controls are soft. The Americans would no doubt view the authority of the FN groups at about on par with any other international norm, legal document or trade agreement. That is, a few tiers lower than Trumps used diapers in terms of significance.
They've also already setup the narrative that a small ethnically based minority group being able to dictate terms to a majority of voters is undemocratic / anti-American -- a sentiment that has enough merit to garner some centrist support, but is extreme enough it can be coopted into more drastic measures. If there's a vote in favour of separation, and it ends up 'blocked', that'll be grounds for escalation in their view.

That article was painful to read about some people's lack of critical thinking skills. There exist people who believe only Donald Trump can save them from the Epstein class of global elites!!?? 🤯
When the separatist leaders were meeting (plotting) with the American State Department in a SCIF didn't they say they would get $500 Billion if Alberta became independent? And then in the future if an independent Alberta would join the USA it would make more sense for Alberta to become an American Territory rather than a State?
So their end goal is to become a future Norte Rico.

As if America would make Alberta a full-fledged state. They would end up like Puerto Rico or the CNMI. America only wants Alberta's resources.

@Antioua The woman interviewed who says Epstein’s Island is evil and that “Trump is the only one that can save us.”

You know, I'm usually against forced deportation, however, I feel like I'm willing to make an exception here
