Hmmm… possibly. My 2016 MacBook Pro was a real piece of shit. the only Apple product I ever owned that was just made badly. I mean— I had it for 10 years, but that fucker was broken 15 ways from Sunday. Keyboard, trackpad, battery, all non-functional within a year or two. The rest worked fine for a decade tho, until one day - poof! It just died. (technically, last October.)
I replaced it with a 16” MacBook Pro M4 Pro. I’m very happy with that.
That era was awful. I did like my fanless 2016 MacBook. However, I am a sucker for ambitious things. (Butterfly keyboard required keeping a can of air around)

I actually really loved the Touch Bar and am sad that newer Macs don’t have them.

I think that touchbar was introduced on an unfortunate line of Mac’s.
The Intel Macs with Touch Bar sucked pretty hard.
M1 with Touch Bar is a nice machine that would’ve been better to introduce the feature on

I absolutely adored mine. I had no idea why everyone had such a fucking problem with it.

I think people just need a reason to be upset sometimes.
