It took some work to get him out of there. He didn't really like me for it. Although he did appreciate the cuddling afterwards.

Shade, and seemingly safe. This one might have got the braincell briefly but it failed to recognize that these things move. Rabbits just lol at this napping orange idiot.

The shade is the main thing - at least, that's what I was figuring. I tried to get him to the sidewalk on the other side which is also partially shaded by the car, but there he decided that he wanted to lie in the sun after all.

A responsible pet owner would not let this happen

Not just birds. Everything. Cats kill everything.

Mine love to lay behind the casters of my swivel chair for some reason.

one time I was hanging out with my buddy in my truck. The neighbor's cat went under my car, so I started my engine and the cat ran away to hide under a nearby bush instead
Also, this is why I don't let my cats outside without constant, line-of-sight supervision and when they're outside I have a bag of their favorite treats ready to go in case they start wandering off

My neighbours cat would do the same thing, until one time no one noticed him and he was crushed when the car backed up... it was gruesome and awful. It's a really shitty to let your dumb cat roam around in the street like this. He will be crushed one day, or maybe he'll receive permanent brain damage and have to be put down, or maybe he'll find some spilled anti-freeze and die, or he'll be eaten by a coyote, or a hawk, or a stray dog, or someone will just kill them because they want to, or he'll come down with any number of terminal/hard to treat diseases.
Cat's do not belong outside without supervision. Thanks reminding me of how my neighbours cat was crushed to death because they were as irresponsible as you. Please don't bother responding to me, if you do I will recount exactly what happened to Georgie boy and how long it took him to die.

Dude, calm tf down, and stop lecturing people like that. It's not my cat. And I can't know the triggers of everyone on the internet. I was just trying to create some OC and share a laugh. Fucking hell.
