Oklahoma sucks ass in every way. In addition to the stuff listed it's also hot and humid, there's tornados and ice storms, it's absurdly flat and boring, the food is bland, the roads are trash, the water is just soupy mud, and most of the state smells like either a gas station dumpster or an abandoned oil refinery.
Even with all that, the thing that bothers me most about that terrible state, is that the selfish and hypocritical rednecks who live there think it's an amazing place because they've never been anywhere else.
It's even worse than that. When Texas joined the US as a slave state it was illegal to have slaves above a certain latitude. So Texas gave the panhandle to Oklahoma so they could keep their slaves while joining the union.
someone very dear to me is in oklahoma right now and we're trying to get her to move to massachusetts. the conceptual gap between these states is an order of magnitude wider than the geographical; extremely stark >.<
I know some MAGA boomer that moved from California to Oklahoma. She moved to Oklahoma without even visiting the place. After about a week she realized that she regretted it and wants to move back to California but can't afford to do it all over again. She's saving up to GTFO of that state.
Arbitrarily grouping votes by county doesn't mean the votes were unanimous. Those voting the opposite way in most of those counties were fairly close to 50%.

I don’t like its dumb shape. It looks like Texas stole a big chunk of it, and Oklahoma just let it happen. Pathetic.
