YMMV. Therapists provided by the socialized healthcare usually suck. They are either borderline uninterested, prejudiced or are incompatible with the patient. And waiting for an appointment — that will most likely end up in disappointment at best or make you feel even more like crap at worst — usually takes months. Mental healthcare is still pretty shit. Well, healthcare in general. I've had to pay out of pocket many times in hopes of finding doctors who actually give a shit or aren't absolute morons.
Tbf ive paid out of pocket for at least 5 different therapists and they've lacked chemistry with me or very visibly just didnt care. It's a thankless job if youre mediocre or even kind of good, but extremely rewarding for the best
At this point if we even actually managed to provide complete health coverage for all our citizens, well over a third world refuse it because it's communist, anti-jesus, and because purple haired liberal trans jobless vaccinated athiests made it.
