Aww, I've seen only a couple fireflies this year, but I guess that's to be expected in a city. I don't generally mind other bugs and spiders, I just relocate them (or turn them into a pancake if it's a mosquito). Just the other day I had to rescue two larger spiders that couldn't climb out of our kitchen sink. I don't like them crawling on me, it's just a lizard brain reflex, but spiders are cool otherwise.
Roaches on the other hand... they're too fast and they only appear if there's something nasty going on. In this case, our ex-neighbor would leave food leftovers on the balcony table to marinate for over a week. She kicked out a rug on the balcony that her cat pissed all over and it stank for well over a week of cat piss. Don't think she ever cleaned that up. She also leaves her cat for weeks alone when she's gone, so I'm gonna assume the place on the inside also gets nasty.
Good reminder for me. I've just added a firewall rule to drop everything outgoing from TV's MAC address. This thing is as chatty as my Android phone which I use much more and for way more things.
Hah, me with my dogs. They love chasing and killing flies, but the downside is they also go after bugs with stingers. I always have to yell at them to leave those alone, because I don't want to find out how they react to a sting and I know they wouldn't learn anything from the experience, lol.
In the last apartment we rented shortly after a new next-door neighbor moved in, we started finding roaches in our place. 100% came from the neighbor because she's nasty. One night I felt something crawl on me in the bed. Yep, a roach. Fun times.
Out of interest I checked again to see which app works with Atmos 7.1. Offical Jellyfin AndroidTV app and Wholpin trigger transcoding on the server. VoidTV and Moonfin play it without an issue. I know there's an open issue on the Github somewhere, but I don't think there was any progress there.
I've tried multiple Jellyfin apps for TV and all but VoidTV refuse to play Atmos with DV. 5.1 works, but 7.1 doesn't. Including the offical Jellyfin app. It's odd because it used to work until it didn't.
Bread maker, if you have a bit of extra space. We got one barely used off of marketplace for €35 (~65% cheaper than new). I throw ingredients in the basket and let it do its thing for 3 hours.
I can put 15 layers on in winter and still be cold. My toes and face are the worst. If I try to protect my nose, I get snot everywhere and it's gross. If I don't, I feel like my face will freeze off my body. Too hot sucks as well. No winning for me except for spring maybe.

And waiting for an appointment — that will most likely end up in disappointment at best or make you feel even more like crap at worst — usually takes months. Mental healthcare is still pretty shit. Well, healthcare in general. I've had to pay out of pocket many times in hopes of finding doctors who actually give a shit or aren't absolute morons.
I saw a video where daughters were arguing with their mother about turning the car off while it was being fueled. She refused to because "do you not trust Jesus? If we die, it is God's will. I trust him and will not interfere". Dangerous morons.
Me, taking the state exam. Had Crime and punishment as the topic. I read maybe at best a third of it a few years before the exam and remembered basically nothing. The book bored me to death and I just couldn't get through it (like most monthly book assignments we had). Bullshitted my way through it. Got a B. I genuinely couldn't believe it, lol.
As a European, it really depends where those tourists were from. Austrian traditional food? Abysmal (even Austrians agree). Germany is also petty meh. Meanwhile Czechia has great food. Further east and south, also great food. That's not to say the US doesn't have good food.
I don't know why people think America does food bad, we're not one of the fattest countries because our food sucks.
I would guess this has more to do with your food having tons of sugar and giant portions. Plenty of countries have amazing food. Not all of them struggle with obesity so much.
Same here. It's why I can't get through books with lots of descriptions of environment or characters. It takes a lot of brain power to visualize and it's just the specific word I'm reading at the moment, divorced from the entire description (e.g. character descriptions, I can blurrily/faintly imagine just the eyes, then just the hair and it evaporates quickly). I'm jealous of people who can actually play movies in their head.
This is my mother. Then she's mad/disappointed the cake and cookies didn't turn out well and more often than not they end up in the garbage. I do not understand her.
