Frankly I think this was the worst season. The overarching plot wasn't strong enough to be worth an entire season of buildup, and at times felt like it was spinning its wheels. This season felt more episodic than the previous two, especially the Myxpytilik episode my god. The subplot with Jimmy and Kara was painful to sit through, and how little they used Bizarro was frankly unacceptable. Also, shoehorning Krypto in at literally the last minute was just...why? Why did this season feel so half-baked and rushed at the same time?!
And then I saw that James Gunn and Peter Safran joined Season 3 as Executive Producers, and that's when it all clicked into place: They wanted to push DC Cinematic Universe bullshit into this show which clearly wasn't trying to be that, to its benefit. I was wondering why one of the Creature Commando characters showed up in the second-to-last episode as a cameo. Cause everything has to be connected whether it makes sense or not.
Yeah, I didn't like Season 3. If this is the end of the series, what a wet fart to go out on. Maybe My Adventures with Green Lantern will fare better and recapture what the first two seasons of My Adventures with Superman had.
