The earlier you start drinking, smoking, or doing drugs the easier it is to find yourself dependant on them as you won't develop healthy coping habits or find healthy ways to enjoy your spare time.

I started drinking when I was 12, it started quite the struggle with addiction in my life.
I've been sober now for 4 years.
It took 4 attempts to get sober and stay with it but I'll never drink again.
