The Victorians broke columns off and sold them. You can find them in gardens all round the province. Not as bad as that but still

Tbf, a world heritage site being destroyed by a stupid trend is a bad thing. Especially when said world heritage site is probably the most major and nationally iconic attraction to Northern Ireland, even appearing in modern heraldry for the province.
