I use British English in variables for the word "colour". It's actually kind of useful because I can tell when it's my own variable and when I'm interacting with something else.
It's easier just recommending the distro rather than Linux in general.
I know someone who was starting to dislike windows, I sent them the Linux mint site. Had a much more positive interaction compared to when I had just previously said "what about using Linux?"
I actually think this is a similar way to push the fediverse. Just recommend a good instance instead of trying to sell them on federated technology. The federated technology will show them content and "how does this actually work" could be a conversation for later.
If the native americans controlled immigration and had the means to do so, they'd probably be in a better position.
I'd rather if we'd stop drying to be disingenuous and bring race into the argument. If anything, the major factor is religion. Immigration between european societies isn't such a big deal as they all generally follow or were at least raised in some flavour of Christianity. Meanwhile Islamic societies and Islam itself have different values when it comes to things such as the treatment of women, polygamy, etc, that there's some form of integration that needs to happen for the two religions to coexist with each other. Same can go for any other religion essentially.
I live in Northern Ireland. If I go back far enough, my ancestors are in Scotland. If I go back even further, they're back in Ireland. It's quite interesting.
I have no issue with migrants, my issue is generally with people who try and bypass the immigration system for their own advantage. Often they tar the good name of legal migrants. We have a load of useful idiots here who seriously think that the only reason someone would attempt to enter Europe is because of war or danger. That isn't the case.
It depends how you look at it. Generally people respect the autonomy of native americans. I think racial purity is stupid, but different cultures do have different social systems, more diverse than what we realise. Generally, integration is a good thing rather than a free-for-all.
People dripping in from the continent over hundreds of years isn't the same as a sudden influx hopping a continent and causing smallpox to wipe out the locals
Can you stop using imgur? It's blocked in the UK
How self aware can you be
In Northern Ireland, apparently expressing support for proscribed groups doesn't usually get you arrested because it's not worth the hassle.
Imagine using Imgur to upload to a UK sub
They sold Pokémon Go?
And morocco will pay for it

I use ubuntu and I don't think I ever read docs
Actually, I had to remove snap once.
Granted, I am and was familiar with the basics of linux due to having a raspberry pi.
Amen!
That's not how a lot of the colonisation of the Americas happened. Most of it was civilian.
At what point does immigration constitute an invasion?
They've been there and from less further away far longer than Europeans have been in the americas
Yep, so it's important there's a line that's drawn

Don't you lot kidnap non whites off the street and if you're wrong about their legality, punish them anyway for "resisting arrest"

Give your land back to the native Americans
