Trying to remember an old comic book

Figured this would be worth a shot!

I'm not sure it was actually European but I think so. Or was on the same physical format as Tintin and Lucky Luke for instance.

I have a faint feeling that the art style was a bit more realistc and gave me a more serious feel.

It was about a couple exploring some ancient Egyptian city and finding some sort of magical artifact that triggered a pyramid shaped force field that erased everything it touched.

I read this during the early nineties I think so I don't remember many details about it sadly.

Anyone have a clue what it might've been?

I'm no expert, but I've seen this at my local library

But it could have been Blake and Mortimer, Ian Kaledine, Timour... So many Egypt-themed BD at my library!

None of those but thanks for the suggestions at least!

I don't immediately recognise it, but can you describe the two people? Was this modern day, or historic? Sci-fi themed? Any more info on the artifact? Was the art "ligne claire"-style?

It was modern day, at least not like ancient historical not sci fi. Not quite sure exactly when it took place but semi modern at least.

I think the artifact was a Horus falcon.

The art style was, I think, a bit more detailed than that.

I know I'm not much help here but it's hard when it's been so long. :)

Looks like the two Le faucon de Mû books are uploaded to Anna's Archive, so you can check them out and see...

Yeah, it's definitely the right one, crazy.. been thinking about this one on and off for years.

Now I'm off to find a physical copy! Thanks again mate! :)

Just got my physical copy yesterday!

It got mangled a bit in transit and had a certain moldy smell so I might have to look for another copy in the future but at least I get to finally read it again!

Thanks again! :)

Awesome!

Too bad about the wonky quality of the book, but feel free to post some pages here if you like. If it's just one image/page, you can upload that to PieFed, but if it's more, I usually upload to Imgur (or wherever) and then link them in the body of the post. The code for that looks like this:

En fait, j'ai bénéficié d'un peu d'aide pour trouver la réponse. 😅
