It cannot be stated enough. People need to get off Twitter. It is a cancer on society that drives so much misinformation and division.

All social media algorithms do this. Angry people interact more. More interaction means more ads. More ads means more money.

The difference here is that this study found that it prioritises negative engagement, so all interactions aren't equal.
