This is the scam of health "insurance" in America: you get a bill that's stupid. Like "on a different planet" stupid. Your insurance colludes with the hospital to pay none of it (but tell you they did) and you get to pay the actual balance. The actual balance is also stupid, but just ordinary stupid.
I don't see it in the last couple of weeks of posts to this group and don't remember seeing it before. That rules out a lot of previous time, though not all of it. How long ago was it last posted?
Looks like the poster of that is a lemmy.ml account. I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if fedia.io, where I am, doesn't federate with them and doesn't show posts from accounts over there.
So while it's a repost given this new evidence, it wasn't a repost for me, and maybe OP didn't see it on their instance either.
Quite possible. This com is on .world, so I as a mod have to abide by .world federation, though it does seem like this post would have gained more traction, alot of people have .ml blocked personally so its bound to cause issues like this. :(
