No advanced country can survive without products from third countries*, for sure the EU use products, components and also services from China and other asian countries, why not? They also use things from other, as any country do. Currently better and way more trustworth as using US products. At least, the maschines for making Microchips come from the Netherland.

So they will be running Chinese models on Microsoft's servers and selling it as a European product.

I have been paying for mistral but now they just feel like the middleman

I use Mistral and it is fairly shit. Also changed it to be called vibe.

Its just where I am aiming to go with them, I want voice control for HA but want my HA to remain local only.

Ideally a modern GPU would be available in five years for a decent price and I would get a decent model and remote in for anything I needed.
