Left wing terrorists rehearsing their BRUTAL attack on the right!

Doomsider@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 12d

This is what leftists just don't get. They hurt the right's feelings which forces the right to become more racist, sexist, and xenophobic. The left pokes fun and the right responds with hate and murder. It is always the leftist's fault! /S

It annoys me that the woman is making the completely wrong hand gesture. It's a twist, not a knock.

Edit: I probably should mention this is the hand gesture for "turning on the waterworks".

She's in a teaching role. The motions need to be exaggerated, to be obvious to children watching and trying to copy. It's a bit like theatre actors over exaggerate, to make things visible from the back.

Different twists for different wrists

it occurs to me that infants dont have the hand coordination to hold their hands in position and twist, but i absolutely have seen infants flail their arms in a tantrum

Sorry, that's Miss Rachel. If anyone is the authority on proper child gestures, she's the one.

You wouldn't tell Steve Irwin how to properly interact with nature, would you?

pHr34kY@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 14d

Steve still interacted with nature wrong.

The hand gesture here is for "turning on the waterworks". You know, like a faucet.

That’s Miss Rachel. She’s an expert on child development, an outspoken advocate for human rights, and an extremely popular child entertainer. She’s basically this generation’s Steve from Blues Clues. If she’s doing it a certain way on purpose, it’s probably because it makes it easier for kids to pick up.

I always say she's this generations Mr. Rogers. Saint of a woman.
